Begun in a kitchen in Portland, Maine, Intoxicles started as a gift for friends and a refreshment for summer nights in the backyard. In our first test batch, we made mojitos, margaritas, screwdrivers, and whiskey and Coke, then froze it in ice cube trays. We did it by hand, using whole ingredients and the liquors that we most liked to drink.

Since then, we've experimented with different flavors. We've relentlessly tweaked the recipes. We've figured out how to get the perfect texture, while retaining alcohol content and staying true to time-tested recipes. From our backyard to yours, Intoxicles are a treat to enjoy among friends, responsibly, on a summer night. And as our motto goes, it's summer somewhere.
